About the site

The aim of this website is to be an on-line resource for collecting GB stamps.
The website is still in development - you can see its progress by coming back every now and then.

Things still to do (March 2008):

• Data Entry - Never ending task, but now have over 4200 items and 14,400 issues now (march 2008). Thinking about varieties next.
• Other Countries - Now have sites for Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man and World - with over 14,400 issues (March 2008)
• Content - Database data is a bit dry, need some opinion and background text - markup test
• Images - Using my own images as far as possible although contributors are welcome. (see 1973)
  
• Search - Search engine enhanced with more keywords and flexible entry (April 2007)
• Links - Provide more information and links for sets and stamps (Wikipedia etc) - see page for 1990
• Update Wikipedia list of GB Postage Stamps at Wikipedia GB Postage Stamps (ongoing)
• Album Pages - Initial trials to generate printable album pages (April 2007) - see British Ships, Royal Mail and Crimean War PDFs. Also see an example of how a year might look - 1982. Still a long way to go on this. (April 2007)
